The Butterfly Lion Summary: This book started in a place called Timbavarti(in Africa) this little name is Bertie he never had brothers and he would always climb hes tree and steer at a waterhole.as he grew older he found a white lion his farther killed the lion cub mother so Bertie run out of his compound and into the field.the one thing Bertie never gave up on was his friend ship with the lion. Bertie's farther sent him to boding school and the lion to a CIRCUS!Bertie got married with a girl called Millie and he found the white lion. Soon Bertie and the Lion died and Millie told this boy the whole story but when he went back to his school he returned to the ladies house and realized........ Our visit to Sinai Academy

Last week we visited the Sinai Academy in Bloubergrant. It was very interesting at Sinai Academy. The Rabbi always wears a prayer shawl when is praying. We went in the synagogue and learnt more about Judaism. Then we saw the Torah which is the scrolls. We read the Bible and i first could not understand there Bible they read it the wrong way around. We celebrated the Shabbat bye eating challah bread and drinking grape juice. All the boys wear a kippah and if you were a girl  and you were married you had to wear a wig. Rosh Hoshanah is there special day for the Hebrews. Judaism comes from Israel where Jesus was born. I really like that outing. I want to go there again maybe they can come to us.

The Grade 4 Camp.

Last week we were on camp.We went to Simonsberg Christen Centre. We went first to Giraffe House there was a llama,snakes,giraffe,zebra,ostrich and goats.We even  got to watch a reptile show. When we got to camp my friends and  i were in dorm 10. Khantse and i were on the to single beds Maddie and Dejushka were on the top of the bunk beds.  My friends and i loved building forts in the forest and casing the boys or people that wanted to break the fort. We had lots of fun.
